FP at Lison - Villedieu-les-Poeles-Rouffigny (Camping Les Chevaliers de Malte)
Wednesday 31st August
We left the France Passion farm and drove just a few miles west to the small town of St. Fromond to have a bike ride beside the River Vire.

Picnic lunch in a small park overlooking the river and bridge.
Then continued to the town of Villedieu-les-Poeles-Rouffigny to an ACSI campsite (this means that now we are in low season and the price is right!).
Thursday 1st September
A strange thing happened in the night just around midnight and as we rolled into September, it rained! It wasn't for long, but it sounded mighty heavy as it hammered on our roof - had almost forgotten that sound! We've explored the town today and found out a bit about it's history - particularly of it's bell-making heritage.
The museum was closed for lunch when we passed, so just viewed this huge bell and very ornate gates.
As we'd had a big breakfast this morning, we missed out lunch and had drinks and rather expensive (but lovely) puddings at a Salon de The. Shared apricot crumble and chocolate cake.
